American InterContinental University offers associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees at its campuses in Atlanta, South Florida, Houston and London, as well as AIU Online. AIU’s industry-focused degree programs provide specializations in business, criminal justice, design, education and information technology.

History

American InterContinental University was founded in Switzerland in 1970 with the idea that higher education should help students attain professional success. Eventually expanding to multiple campuses, the university now offers classes in the U.S., U.K. and online.

Accreditation

American InterContinental University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The school’s business programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP).

Academics

AIU offers a specialized approach to career preparation. Whether in business, information technology, criminal justice, design or education, AIU provides a range of opportunities for students to build their professional qualifications.

AIU Online offers associate degrees in business administration, criminal justice and visual communications. At the bachelor’s level, the online school offers more than 20 degree tracks. Its graduate degrees allow students to pursue education, business administration or technology.
